I was starting to wonder where everyone was going from LotB.
I got home 11-1-2013 after sitting for 7 months in hell.
Taran sent my Heart Breakers company back as a late Xmas present. The wife was released 1-21-2014 and we headed up to MI so she could say goodbye to her mother. We went to Memphis to meet with GRUD, Widowmaker, and chrisnscale around the wife's b-day and got the call that her mother passed on 3-22-2014 the day after my wife's b-day.
The wife is enrolled in cosmetology school right now (started the end of April) and is doing very well. She has already been asked to go into the educator program since she is doing so well. In two weeks from this message, she has a showdown with one of the instructors to see who is the fastest with roller sets.
I'm trying to find work, but it is hard to do now. At least we both still have all of our rights.
Feel free to look me up on FB if you still use it. IIRC, you mentioned that you use a whole different identity there and I would be able to keep it to myself. I don't recommend friends to anyone.
Well, back to nursing this headache I've got.

I left LotB after being accused of being a poor Christian by two hypocritical assholes, one of which apparently only trolled the boards for that reason, and the other whom is a mutual acquaintance that I won't mention. Still play Battletech, though. I may come back, but there's no real reason to anymore. Most of the "old heads" are gone.
I sympathize with your loss. I lost my dad last October. But I'm doing pretty well myself, as is my family, so no real complaints.

Scary enough, I was looking at the "old heads" list and found that they are lurking there very recently including bombtech and fokker07. I'm doing more lurking myself since it seems to have become just a trading forum. I went to BTU just to get some feedback on my minis, but even BTU has died off.
I'm thinking of putting fresh pics of my minis up here, but I really don't know if I should or not.
